 OK. Can you do the following:
 {{{
 sudo port clean --all libarchive
 sudo port install libarchive
 }}}
 and, assuming that errors out, then:
 {{{
 cp $(port logfile libarchive) ~/Desktop/libarchive_log.txt
 bzip2 ~/Desktop/libarchive_log.txt
 }}}
 and, then attach the file "libarchive_log.txt.bz2" found on the Desktop to
 this ticket for us to review. We like clean and full log files.
