 I confirm that with up to date ports auto-multiple-choice installs and
 works fine.

 To have a fresh installation of all ports I used these commands.

 sudo port clean -f --all installed
 sudo port uninstall installed
 sudo port selfupdate
 sudo port install auto-multiple-choice
 }}}
