 Am I right that this is just a problem with a mirror? In that case you
 should ask for help on the mailing list or on the IRC channel, I'm not the
 best reference in suggesting how to configure the mirrors.

 If that is the case, I suggest to mark this ticket as invalid, at least
 with respect to ROOT6.

 If the mirror is still corrupted (I didn't check), we should file a ticket
 about the mirror. Btw, the URL above is for binary packages. The
 problematic part must be in sources (`distfiles` rather than `packages`).
 Please ask on the mailing list.

 You can delete the sources manually from
 `/opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/root/` (and run `port clean root6`).
