 Compilation of libarchive failed with the message {{{possibly undefined
 macro: AC_MSG_ERROR}}}

 Taking a look here:

 I found that this was due to a missing pkgconfig package. Installing this
 package fixed the problem, so perhaps this should be added to the
 dependencies for libarchive.
