 Thanks Veence,
 I'll take care of tagging next time.
 I did
 {{{
 $ sudo port install qgis +qt4
 }}}

 but I get the following error

 $ Failed to archivefetch QGIS: qwt61 must be installed with +qt4.
 I uninstalled and clean qwt*
 I tried installing qwt

 {{{
 port install qwt61 +qt4
 }}}
 which results in:

 Error: qwt: Variant qt5 conflicts with qt4

 Now I have to figure it out.

 In the meantime I'll get the QGIS LTS version (2.14).
