 I'm almost there with a fix for libstdc++ users. As Mojca described above,
 it's multi-part: (1) fixing the qmake PG to make sure qmake has the right
 settings for linking (generically); (2) getting the right settings to
 qmake to do c++11 compiling; and (3) making sure the correct libstdc++
 setting is provided for both compiling and linking, so that the correct
 C++ framework is used. Fun fun fun!
