 cool stuff,

 got youtube-viewer up and running with mplayer now.


 - downloaded youtube-viewer-master here
         https://github.com/trizen/youtube-viewer
 - deactiavted perl5.24 from macports
       sudo port deactivate perl5.24
    (had to install macports via .pkg again as this broke somehow macports
 installation; )
 - installed perlbrew and build youtube-viewer as shown here
     http://blog.johnkrauss.com/installing-youtube-viewer/
 - installed also youtube-dl via macports ()

 really good feeling :)
