 so I think this clang-3.7/libc++ forcing might be the way forward for
 bootstrapping most older systems, but we have that issue with 10.7 that
 apparently is a unique thing. I'll see if that is something easy to fix.

 Most likely, all the compiler and stdlib forcing in the cmake Portfile
 will need to be redone, though.
