 We stopped GLFW release for older Mac OS X 10.6 and older, because the
 GLFW devs updated to 10.7+ APIs: https://github.com/macports/macports-
 ports/blob/master/graphics/glfw/Portfile#L17 . We can do something similar
 for CMake, or just offer the cmake39 port as described (with the final
 version of cmake that doesn't require C++11).

 And, maybe #55415 isn't quite a duplicate, but the efforts are similar &
 the end result is likely to address both tickets.
