 This is the directory where the portfile is located in my system:
 `/opt/local/var/macports/sources/rsync.macports.org/release/tarballs/ports/multimedia/mlt`

 I confirm that in my system the patch can be applied and it works well.
 After I put the patch in place,  `port clean all -all` works just fine.
