 The same could apply to boringssl as well.

 I propose installing with --libdir=${prefix}/lib/${name}
 --includedir=${prefix}/include/${name}.

 The binaries could be suffixed with a port select mechanism.

 dependents would need to specify PKG_CONFIG_PATH.  We could probably setup
 a PortGroup to manage that (as well as options for specifying which
 variants are supported / default).

 How should we handle the man pages?
