 If adding

 configure.cxxflags-append -std=c++14

 to the Portfile fixes it, couldn't we just do that, at least
 conditionalized for High Sierra? I set my build that way and it is now
 proceeding very well, though it hasn't finished yet.

 I think this is high priority, as without webkit2-gtk, a lot of packages
 just can't be built.
