 Trying to build mpd on my Mac OS X Sierra 10.12.6 machine fails. I tried
 it on another 10.12.6 machine where it worked, but I'm not sure what the
 difference is.

 Xcode version:

 $ system_profiler SPDeveloperToolsDataType | grep Version
       Version: 8.1 (8B62)
 }}}

 I'm not sure about the version of mpd, I pulled it from here:
