 The linkchecker port currently has only linkchecker 9.3, which is broken,
 especially when checking sites with https.

 There is a new version, 9.4, that resolves these issues.

 Note: The old maintainers of linkchecker
 (https://github.com/wummel/linkchecker) have evaporated, and it is now
 being maintained in a new location
 (https://github.com/linkchecker/linkchecker) by a new crew of
 contributors.
