 The usual stuff.

 `sudo port selfupdate` and then update as you'd normally do.

 Your issue is **not** the problem described in this bug report though, but
 sounds more alike the one reported in #55560. The latter is also fixed,
 though, so you've probably hosed your system.

 What does `port installed lbzip2; ls -ldh /opt/local/bin/lbzip2` output?
