 Peter -- if you decide you want to start over, or perhaps just install the
 prebuilt binaries, I can help you use my setup as a "buildbot" of prebuilt
 binaries that you can install.

 I use this setup to distribute the prebuilt binaries to my other 10.4 PPC
 machines here anyway, and I can share them with you if you want.
