 After hours of building, the command "sudo port install gcc47 +universal"
 failed with the error message "Error: Failed to build gcc47: command
 execution failed".   The file
 /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_macports_release_tarballs_ports_lang_gcc47/gcc47/main.log
 is attached.

 Story: my MacOS was updated to Sierra 10.12.6.  I completely wiped out the
 old MacPorts by following the instructions in
 https://guide.macports.org/chunked/installing.macports.uninstalling.html
 including the rm -rf step.  Then I installed
 MacPorts-252-10.12-Sierra.pkg.  Then as the first command, I tried "sudo
 port install gcc47 +universal".  It built for HOURS, then it stopped with
 the error message shown above.

 Now I'm stuck.  Please help me to get this installation completed.
