Comment:

 And of course the reason why there is no binary is that this error is
 encountered while trying to produce it. :)

 It is true that macOS Mojave removed the ability to target ancient macOS
 versions. This project targets Mac OS X 10.5. I thought the settings the
 xcode portgroup sets would override that, but maybe not.
