 Hmm. I'm looking at the way the legacysupport PG calls the setup proc at
 both the beginning and end of the port processing....

 Perhaps if did that with cxx11 PG also we wouldn't need to do these hacks
 in ports. Will have to test if everything else (like setting optflags)
 would still work...
