 For me:

 $ port contents py27-pyqt4 | grep QtCore/QtCoremod.sip
 /opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/share/sip/PyQt4/QtCore/QtCoremod.sip
 }}}
 ... which is really where they should be located.

 So maybe this is really a PyQt4 issue?
