 Oh, sorry, my bad. This was in the gcc issue, and the e-mail was titled
 '#56521: gcc8 @8-20170604_2: update to 8.1'. I assumed way too early it
 was just an update to the gcc.
 Yes, now I actually reviewed the patch, and it looks pretty good to me,
 except maybe a commented out 'hardcode link to command line tools version'
 part (should this be a xcode_cmd variant instead?)
