 If the only thing preventing updating emacs-devel
 https://github.com/macports/macports-
 ports/pull/1948#issuecomment-394551583  is the inline patch for emacs-app-
 devel, than I think the best way to deal with it is guard that variant
 with an if subport eq emacs-app-devel and not default the inline variant.
