 To move this forward a little, here is a PR for a update to 0.65.0:
 https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/pull/1975

 I've added notes about the dependents that I have looked into fixing
 (texlive-bin + inkscape); there are two others (vips and pdfhtmlex) that I
 haven't yet. However, I still don't know what to do about the ports that
 need qt4 bindings and can't easily be updated to qt5.
