 When using the universal variant, the following messages appear in the
 log, and zlib, lzma and lz4 support is not compiled in:

 :info:build ==> no threads, building without multithreading support
 :info:build ==> no zlib, building zstd without .gz support
 :info:build ==> no liblzma, building zstd without .xz/.lzma support
 :info:build ==> no liblz4, building zstd without .lz4 support
 }}}

 Assuming the resolution to #56645 is that support for zlib, lzma and lz4
 is desired, this will need to be investigated and corrected.
