 I totally agree with you. It is still early to worry about deprecation of
 32bit app from Apple.

 In my box, I always build in 64bit. Because I don't need networking or
 JIT. But I didn't experience full screen glitches in SDL1 as you suggest.

 Perhaps, we should port QEMU slirp 64 bit clean first.

 For JIT, I really don't think it is necessary for modern beefy Intel CPU.
 Emulation 68K is a piece of cake.
