 The build errors (so far) are all in the GUI. Looks like both the SDK is
 too old to support the written GUI code, and also there could be some
 assembly in it, based on:  {{{ internal compiler error: in
 decode_addr_const, at varasm.c:266 }}}.

 First question is whether the GUI could be deactivated with some config
 option or flag. That might make progress, at least until whatever the next
 error is shows up.

 If not that, then next idea would be to look backwards through the commit
 log for that port to find the last one that looks like it would have
 worked on 10.5 PPC, and try building that version. That often works,
 although it's a crap shoot as the port is no longer in the ecosystem it
 was in way back then, and sometimes it doesn't find compatible versions of
 the supporting software.
