 Well, I stand corrected.  It turns out librsvg 2.42.3 requires (via
 pkgconfig) freetype2 >= 20.0.14 which is the pkgconfig version returned by
 freetype 2.8.  Perhaps a typo in their NEWS item.  The versioning does
 seem to be a bit confusing.

 So not an urgent item because of librsvg 2.42.3 which builds correctly and
 tests with only one failure out of 128 SVGs.
