 Hi[[BR]]

It has a bug in version 5.0. It is written on different mailing-
 lists:[[BR]]

 https://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/qgis-developer/2018-March/052501.htm
 [[BR]]

The problem is that in QGIS, compiled with PROJ 5.0.0, it is not possible
to re-project two maps with different coordinates: one is shifted. Of
 course it makes QGIS unusable.
If the same QGIS is compiled with PROJ 4.9.3, the very stable and reliable
old version, everything works perfectly. I managed to do this in MacPorts
by keeping the old 4.9.3 and recompile and everything works well.[[BR]]
The developer talks about a fix in April with version 5.0.1 but PROJ 5 is
really very new and has changed deeply. For some time to be able to use
QGIS and QGIS3, but GRASS too is preferable to use version 4.9.3, then in
a while, when these very limiting bugs are fixed, everything will move to
 version 5.x.[[BR]]
Or as you say you offer proj49 activated instead of proj50 to compile QGIS
 and other software.
