 Well it's a while back, but I recall I tried to build qt4 on 10.5 PPC as
 64 bit last year, and it failed to build that way. I'm not sure if it
 bogged down in some 7400 assembly, or if it was all in the guts of the qt
 configuration.

 Not much help, I know.
