Comment (by raimue):

 As a workaround, the problem does not seem to occur when using the X11
 driver by disabling the native driver with
 `WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winemac.drv=d"`. This is not permanent and the prefix
 can be used with `winemac.drv` afterwards.
