 A Trac ticket affords me the opportunity to attach a log file.

 Dave may have other ideas about how to fix the problem. He knows his port
 better than I do.

 Doing a pull request for someone else's port feels like me doing their
 work for them, and I don't always have time to do that. But I recognize
 that in some cases simply doing the work takes less time than explaining
 what needs to be done.
