 gpac was updated to version 0.7.1 before the report was filed.  Are you
 trying to install the prior version? Run 'sudo port selfupdate' if you
 wish to install the latest version.

 Which version of OS X are you running?  It appears that there are prebuilt
 binary packages for gpac 0.7.1 supporting 10.8 through 10.13.
