 I have a collection of "pegged ports" for Lion (the last versions that
 worked on Lion) in a Local Repository that is set up for this.
 <https://github.com/kencu/LionPorts> You can use it as a starting point,
 or if you're willing, contribute to is as well, as everyone who uses Lion
 could use it.

 IF there is sufficient interest, there can be two versions maintained in
 the Portfile -- this is possible, but it's a confusing PITA to maintain,
 and not many maintainers are willing to do this for long, in the end.
