 Hi,
 OTB team provides a standalone binary package which can be used directly
 on MacOSX: https://www.orfeo-toolbox.org/download/
 It can be used to replace this port.
 Currently the OTB project push the use of this package instead of
 distribution package. Currently the OTB project provides only support to
 maintainers and not maintain directly the package.
