Comment (by ctreleaven):

 1) is there some reason you are installing this version as opposed to
 mythtv.28?  I no longer have any facility to test it.

 2) Wait 30 minutes, then 'sudo port -v selfupdate'.  After that, proceed
 with the install.  Let me know if it works, please.
