Comment:

 Okay. I’ve been using QGis 3 extensively yesterday night and didn’t
 experience a single crash. This is definitely ''not'' QGis related, so I’m
 closing it with a won’t fix.
 At that point, we’re looking into the bug in qt5-qtwebkit, so there’s no
 fix yet, just a workaround:

 1. Uninstall qt5-qtwebkit (or w/e version you’ve installed), ignoring the
 warning message on broken dependencies;
 2. Open the qt5 Portfile (in the ''aqua'' group), locate the qtwebkit
 subpart, and remove the leveldb dependency (i.e. “port:leveldb” token);
 3. Uninstall leveldb and gperftools;
 4. Recompile qtwebkit FROM SOURCE (using the -s switch such as in ''port
 -sv install qt5-qtwebkit'')

 It should work fine. Please report.
