Comment (by dershow):

I just got 3.0.3 port installed. I just tried to open a project that
opens fine using the 3.0 binary (from Kyngchaos). After I select the
project the first thing that I see is a dialog box "Handle bad layers"
Each layer had a path that was local "./layer.jp2" But, now I can browse
to each one and correct it (that used to crash before the fix). but now,
after correcting each one I can click OK, but it brings up a dialog box
saying "there are still 6 unhandled layers that will be lost if you closed
now". I hit OK. It then opened the normal qgis layout, but then crashed
soon after, but I can't now reproduce the crash.
I also just figured out that the layers that are now refusing to load are
all jp2 images. I also can't add those layers in manually. So, it seems
that the layers problem might just be that the jpeg2000 library is not
being linked? Perhaps there is just a different flag that can be added?
Otherwise, it does seem to be working.
