 * status:  new => closed

Comment:

 No, using `sudo pip` to install/upgrade python modules in site-packages is
 incompatible with MacPorts. You must not install files into `${prefix}`
 that are not managed by MacPorts.

 If you need python modules from pip, use a virtualenv.
