 Tcl/Tk itself only includes support for a few image formats: PPM/PGM, PNG
 (Tk 8.6+) and GIF. Img adds support for several others, including BMP,
 JPG, and TIFF.

 This would be useful for `p5-tcl-ptk` to support more of the formats
 normally supported by Perl/Tk (`p5-tk`).

 Current version is 1.4.7 (released 2017), and its codebase
 (https://sourceforge.net/p/tkimg/code/HEAD/tree/) seems to be actively

 I'm not sure if a port for this would require separate `+quartz` and
 `+x11` variants.
