 /macports-ports tix] is now fixed.\\
 The other ports, however, depends on X11 in a fundamental way that would
 be very hard to fix.\\
 Since you mentioned that Tix was your priority, I will close this as
 fixed.

 If anyone would like to research this issue more (and get the changes
 merged upstream), we can revisit this issue.
