 Well, yes.  For experienced Portfile writers everything is clear.  For
 unexperienced users like me, however, it is not trivial to guess that (a)
 such a variable exists, and (b) what its default value is.  A table that
 shows all available `.cmd` variables and its default values would be quite
 useful IMHO.
