 Note that I lived on this very setup for about a year on my 10.13 system
 with a newer Xcode as part of validating the /Library/Developer/SDKs
 logic.  That's not to say it is perfect, but it certainly was working for
 me.  If you run into issues around the isysroot logic in xcrun or using
 the system matching SDK, I very much want to know about it, as it's
 possible that there are issues in xcrun itself that I can help fix in a
 future update.
