#57125: Can't install tensorflow as 'wheel is not supported'

 When I try to install tensorflow under any of the supported versions
 python ( 2.7 3.5 or 3.6 ) I get an error like the following

 :info:destroot tensorflow-1.4.1-cp35-cp35m-macosx_10_11_x86_64.whl is not
 a supported wheel on this platform.

 I am running the latest macports on 10.10

 Any thoughts?
