 Interestingly, powerpc-darwin8-apple (Tiger PPC) just breezes right on
 past this error without any intervention in `internal-fn.def`, generates a
 perfectly reasonable `tmp-case-cfn-macros.h`, and continues on with the
 gcc8 build.

 That doesn't surprise me -- there is something seriously troublesome about
 the finer details of the <math.h> functionality on Leopard that we have
 seen before.
