Comment:

 This ticket has been opened for 10 years and supplies a patch to update to
 version 20080926 as well as to add some GUI layer. Meanwhile the port has
 been updated to version 20171225 and all GTK references have apparently
 been removed from upstream.

 The "update" part where this ticket is filed is no longer relevant. For
 the GUI part I see no easy way to get it resolved, but in any case we
 would need a new patch for that (or, if the same patch stays, an older
 version of that same port that lives in its own prefix.)

 I'm closing this for now. If there is still any sane way to get the GUI
 working, please open a new ticket (or even better: pull request).
