Comment:

 I updated the port to 8.2.0 which compiled successfully on i386/10.6. I'm
 not sure how to reproduce the problem (what should I do to reproduce it).
 The reporter didn't respond about whether or not this is still a problem,
 so I'm closing the ticket under assumption that it is.
