 Well, now I don't know. I just installed `octave` from source on my 10.14
 box, and although I was expecting trouble, it all installed right through
 without any issues, including
 {{{
 gcc7
 libgcc7
 libgcc8
 }}}
 I didn't touch a portfile except aquaterm, and I don't have the command-
 line tools installed -- just the 10.14 SDK.
