 The Mesa website now advocates "Users of 18.1 are encouraged to migrate to
 the 18.2 series in order to obtain future fixes".  I recommend updating to
 the latest current version, rather than 18.1.6.  The current version is
 18.2.1 as of 2018 Sept 30.
