 When launching the eric IDE, a dialog pops up requesting me to update:

 The update to 19.11 of eric6 is available at
 https://sourceforge.net/projects/eric-ide/files/eric6/stable/19.11. Would
 you like to get it?
 }}}

 MacPorts must do the updating however. So update checking needs to be
 turned off.
