 OK. Same issue I have, then. Something is not right with libgcc7 7.5.0 on
 10.5 PPC. Until that gets sorted out by somebody clever, all we can do is
 revert back to libgcc7 7.4.x, which is why I **never** remove outdated
 installed packages until a year or two goes by...
